NATIONAL MISSING CHILDREN’S LOCATE CENTER
CELEBRATES 13 YEARS IN CALIFORNIA… and NMCLC is 26 years old.
National Missing Children’s Locate Center established offices in Los
Angeles California Sept 5, 1995.
After 13 years at our offices in southern, CA we have moved to larger and
nicer offices in Woodland Hills. Our new address is listed below and we
have also changed our main phone number which is also listed below..
Everything else remains the same as the next paragraph indicates.
Our “ STREETPROOFING CLASSES “ have taken off in the San Fernando Valley.
Schools, Churches, Temples, Little Leagues, Girl & Boy Scout troops are
taking advantage of these Free Child Abduction Awareness classes. We have
a scheduled Class at our San Fernando Valley Offices every Saturday
morning from 11: am to 12: noon. Come one child or fifty children the
class goes on. Our Program “ Child Finger Printing “ provides the parent
with a complete record of their child’s Medical Information as well as
their physical description on two wallet size laminated cards. The Los
Angeles office is still raising funds through our NMCLC Coupon Books.
Our Non-profit fund raising program using our own special dining and
Entertainment Coupon books has produced funds for both the Missing
Children’s Locate Center and our Non-profit fund-raising partners. Our
Coupon books contain Fast Food, Casual Dining, Fine Dining, Travel,
Entertainment and local merchant discounts which sells for $10.00. 50% of
this $10.00 for the coupon book goes to the Non-profit organization that
is selling the book and 50 % goes to the National Missing Children’s
Locate Centers to maintain our effectiveness.
Our coupon books are given to any Non- profit organization that need funds
for their children’s program….what books are not sold are returned to
National Missing Children’s Locate Center, at no charge. Each page of our
fund-raising coupon book contains a photo of a Missing Child…
National child searching organizations average a recovery or an assist in
a recovery of a Missing Child in the USA & Canada for this reason we print
a brand new coupon book every month. The reason for printing a new book
every month is to replace children’s photos that were found during the
month with those Missing Children that have yet to be found.
Our Volunteer Program has produced many dedicated people who assist us
with both our “ STREET PROOFING CLASSES “ and Fingerprinting Program at
venues throughout San Fernando Valley , Santa Clarita Valley & Simi Valley
and now Woodland Hills.
If you have the time and would like to assist us by volunteering, we would
welcome your efforts on our behalf. In addition we would like to thank
Ms. Michele Dawson for 13 years of selfless dedication to our cause. For
